Hindi Translation of 100 Ghazals of Maulana Rumi published by the cooperation of Iran Culture House, New Delhi.

The International University of Mahatma Gandhi for the Hindi language in the city of Wardha in cooperation with the Office of the Cultural Counsellor of I.R. Iran, New Delhi, translated and published 100 ghazals of Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi.

Dr. Balraam Shukla, an Assistant Professor of Sanskrit, University of Delhi and a Poet of Sanskrit and Persian language has translated hundred Ghazals of Maulana Rumi in Hindi and has named "Niśśabda-Nūpura"  "Silent Voice".

The most important feature of this work is that it is a direct translation from the Persian language into Hindi. In this book, Dr. Shukla first wrote in devnagri 100 Ghazals of Rumi, and then translated it into Hindi, and in the following, the Persian version of the Ghazals of Rumi has been brought. He has also mentioned the  literary comparison of  Sanskrit and Persian poetry.

In the final section, there is cursory glance on Persian grammar and the meanings of specific phrases are also given. Therefore, it can be said that this book is not just a translation of the Rumi Ghazal, but it also teaches Persian Poetry’s rhythm, Row, Grammar, and an especial glossary.

Dr. Balram Shukla has selected only one hundred ghazals of Rumi for translation, which he considered to be close to India"s culture and customs,. These one hundred ghazals are divided into three parts: the first part is Bab-e-Talab, the second part is Bab-e-Tarab and the third part is Bab-e-Wesal.
